Project Resource 01

D DAYS Handbook

The D DAYS Handbook was developed as a practical training resource for secondary school teachers who take part in the Transnational Inclusive Club. It supports teachers in preparing and delivering inclusive activities with students and youths with special needs while considering different physical, psychological and educational capabilities.

The Handbook contains five tailored training modules dedicated to Dance, Drama, Art, Yoga and Sport. Each module introduces approaches, methods and practical guidance that help teachers understand how the relevant activity can contribute to participation, confidence, interaction and well-being within an inclusive environment.

The Handbook also supports the long-term transferability of the D (special) DAYS approach by giving schools and educators a structured resource that can continue to inform inclusive activities beyond the original project period.

What this resource supports

  • Teacher preparation for inclusive D DAYS activities.
  • Practical guidance for Dance, Drama, Art, Yoga and Sport.
  • Adaptation of activities to different participant abilities and needs.
  • Continued use of the D DAYS approach beyond the training events.
  • Wider transfer of inclusive practice to schools and organisations.

The Plan brings together strategies for communication with parents, public authorities, educational institutions, civil-society organisations, community members, potential business supporters and other relevant stakeholders. It considers a combination of media communication, digital materials, social networks, project platforms, direct stakeholder contact, workshops and dissemination events.

Strategic Document for Transnational Cooperation

The Strategic Document for Transnational Cooperation supports long-term collaboration between municipalities, schools, civil-society organisations and other stakeholders working to improve opportunities for youths from vulnerable groups in Santa Maria da Feira, Kočani, Piraeus and Daruvar.

The document examines local circumstances and opportunities for improvement, brings together relevant practices and experience from the four partner communities, and develops recommendations for strengthening local policies and approaches related to the inclusion of vulnerable youth.

A dedicated Action Plan forms part of the Strategic Document and sets out future actions and measures that can support continued cooperation after the project. The proposed initiatives consider needs, objectives, planned activities, resources, possible funding opportunities and preliminary priorities.

  • Exchange of good practices across the four partner communities.
  • Recommendations for improving local approaches to vulnerable youth.
